;all the things i'll never say.
In Arabella’s eyes, the England she saw was golden.
101th post- help me out here, is it supposed to be anything special? like happy 101th post? that's chumy. will i have to do this for the following posts? shucks.
holiday, what holiday? scoffs. anyhoo, i'm thinking (yeah i do that alot, get over yourself), wow one month and we're all a year older (kinda.) lots of stuff gonna be different, i reckon. and oh boy, are things gonna change or what. really. without her on my back all the time i could throw a zillion and one parties.
just sayin'.
blogger isn't agreeing with me today. snappy. i'm bearing with it, so bear with me. now, what's all this fuss i keep readin' bout uh? fuss. reminds me of mushu in mulan 2, he was bein' some unity dragon thingie, and he was like phoooom, yo what's with all this drama?
funny dude, he. i kinda like characters like him. like donkey from shrek. so hhhyeahh. seriously. makes you think, doesn't it?
oh right. NYT shoot on saturday. i don't know how i feel about. since 2 members on my team bailed, i mean, they're overseas- lucky or what? i don't really give shizzzzz about it, the whole competition. believe it or not, i'm (much) more upset about the fact that i have a whole doosh bag of stuff to lug home, then to safra yishun, then home again, and then finally back to the htns range to keep.
carried any shooting suits lately? they make your arms ache so much you can barely lift a gun afterwards. (sort of.) which, entirely defeats the purpose in the end. lets see, the suit/jacket/ don't know, the pants, the booooots, the inner wear and the gun stand. i don't think i'll make it home anyway, so why worry about the shoot, right?
feeelin' pretty mellow now :D just finished a book about Annique villers, spy extraordinaire. she is by far the coolest medieval female spy i've read about. hooyah. not to mention a brief period in the book she was blind and she still managed to escape from numerous enemies, and could have killed numerous trained male spies if she wanted to. she didn't of course. she maims people, but has never killed- moral or what? anyway she got her sight back. it was a temporary thing, you see. knocked her head and lost it. knocked her head again and got it back. but yeah.
so you see, some people have made it physically depressing to read their blogs. whats up with all that? seems like there're never enough things to complain about, never enough swear words to use (that, i might agree. i mean, it centers around the same few words. honestly, if you would swear, would you care to at least be creative about it? makes reading certainly less drabby.) and then is it just me, or is this christmas a slow, painful one? i wouldn't know. i haven't really had the luxury of time on my hands lately. but oh boy, it would be lovely to see some twinkling lights and -if not too troublesome-, maybe some love?
love is not in the air. nu-uh. i take back what i said in the last post - that probably was just the romance novels messing with my head (they do that to you, don't they?). now why couldnt reality (cruel word, that. did u flinch? i think i did.) be like in story books? now don't tell me you haven't asked yourself that worrisome question at least once? we sure spend a bulk of our time daydreaming. then again, maybe it's only me. i don't know why i do that so much. oh well, maybe i do. it's rather like a substitute for the real thing sometimes. imagine how that'd be like, haha. sandcastles in place of the real brick thing with columns and prints and gardens and really long golden sprially staircases with sturdy wooden railings and velvet trimmings on the carpet up its marble steps.
hmph. i guess sandy stairs would just get it the way. i absolutely hate having grains of sand in my shoes.
and really, what prim and proper princess would like to rule a kingdom from a castle of sand? what would her gown be, really?
if you ask me- it'd just be really sandy.
alright, now. blogger is really pissing me off.
moving on, i know school's starting soon. and boy do i hate it when time flies by without your notice. but it's sneaky like that, isn't it? i barely noticed it this time. and i glanced at the calendar, and i'm like, crikey! except, i did not say 'crikey' out loud. but my expression would have looked like a crikey! one, though i would never say it. i do not use words like 'crikey'. what am i, a potato chip?
i don't think so.
so the school books (most of them, anyway) have been bought, much to my horror. wouldnt that just remind me even more that the holidays are ending? but i'm going for training so much i wouldnt notice anything else. swamped, yes.
so let's talk about people. except of course i will be the one doing most of the talking. i think i may have befriended some idiots. and i mean that in the most affectionate of ways. however affectionate, i cannot think of another word to describe you other than idiot. but if you would prefer nutcase or doorknob, give me a call.
hmm doorknob. that came on a sudden swig of inspiration. what a word to insult people. let me put that down somewhere for future reference. moving on, i would so so love to do a post on everyone i know :D well maybe not everyone. maybe just those close close close. but right now i'm only seeing (almost everyday too) my air weapons buddies. i love you guys to bits- there i said it. i mean it's christmas, we're gonna have skyhigh parties. and havent' you heard? when you shooooot with someone all the time, you will eventually love them, warts and all.
well okay i made that one up.
but really!
just remembered that the pellets (you can think of them as bullets that don't kill. which i wouldn't know. i haven't tried. but it's so squishy you can stomp on it and change its shape.) anyway, this pellets that we use for shooting contains lead or something. something hazardous. i heard someone tell this bit of information to some kid who was taking some shooting enrichment course. so how come nobody told us- the long term shooters? hmm they're sneaky. so is it potentially harmful to our health? was that what he was telling the kid?
oh, dear.
now, i remember we went shopping for my sister's birthday present at west mall (: it's the most awesome thing. and blew a hole in my pocket, too. and it was late and the shops were probably closing. and to qualify for the lucky draw, we were short of about a dollar or two. raced around the mall tryin' to buy something practical. oh, and the reciept from the udders ice-cream shop had been thrown away by the cashier so we kinda had to beg her to dig through the mini trash can for it. haha. not to mention everytime we went to a mall, we ended up splurging on yoghurt and ice-cream. mmm.
starfruits are quite delightful. my mum is in this starfruit feitish now. really, i'm just in it because i think it has a pretty name. hell, i'm munchin' on one as we speak. except of course i am the one doing most of the talking.
alright i think that's quite enough ranting. and i'm really proud of all the neat little paragraphs.but i need to do something else now. i don't know what yet, but i'll think of something.
crikey.
