;all the things i'll never say.
I'll be coming home,
and if you ask me, I will stay.
I will stay.
paint the town red.
and snippets of what we once were.
(more than we were before.)
seems awfully strange.
i wouldn't believe i'd been to paris, if not for the snapshots
of me grinning like an idiot next to the
eiffel tower and mona lisa herself.
whirlwind of it. came and went. school opened, we
blended into the grey tables again in the classroom
(you couldn't spot us with a passing glance).
like we said we would,
sometimes you can't help but hate memories because all they do
is remind you of how golden things were in the
past.
you rant and wished it never happened but
you don't really mean it.
of course i'm dead happy it happened.
i'm just upset it stopped happening, then.
it's alright. things die
eventually. living things, too.
forever
is a whole big bloody joke.

(purple umbrellas, streets of florence.)

next week is crazy-filled with tests, but also
holidays so i think
they just want to mess with our heads (as usual.)
today seemed anticlimatic in comparison to
the blast we had yesterday.
funny when the spark that started the (forest) fire was a simple, simple
passing comment.
but maybe it was more than that, i don't know.
maybe we decided that we
had to do it.
you know, when you know it's wrong but you have to do it
anyway.
even though we ended up lost more so
than we should have.
painted the streets red, i think.
physics chem hcl ct next week so praying hard to scrape
through alive. barely, but still my heart is still
beating.
now would be a good time to run away and meet
strangers, fall in love, and all that corny crap.
it was more than we ever were.
then we ever could be.
would you live your life and pretend that i'm okay?
